Chef Daijiro

Chef Daijiro Horikoshi is a skilled artisan who has dedicated his career to Japanese cuisine.

At Takumi, he curates a tasting menu that blends local and imported produce with Japanese flavours and ingredients, all while adhering to the seasons. Chef Daijiro aims to provide guests with a personalised and thoughtful dining experience through his culinary creations.

We had an amazing dining experience! The sushi was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavor and made with great care. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Tari, who took such great care of us throughout our visit. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Her excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable. So glad I decided to come for dinner. The Chef has developed an amazing balance menu with something for all palettes. I’ve eaten all around the world and that experience is something I won’t easily forget. We had lunch today with a group of seven at Takumi. The food was outstanding, the service was outstanding. The miso cod with black garlic was sensational. Just a really lovely experience overall. I can highly recommend - one of the best dining experiences in Seminyak.
