Chef Daijiro

Chef Daijiro Horikoshi is a skilled artisan who has dedicated his career to Japanese cuisine.

At Takumi, he curates a tasting menu that blends local and imported produce with Japanese flavours and ingredients, all while adhering to the seasons. Chef Daijiro aims to provide guests with a personalised and thoughtful dining experience through his culinary creations.

Such an intimate, welcoming and warming atmosphere. My husband and I came back a second time the very next night after having their omakase menu. We shall be visiting every Bali trip.

The table with others was just a vibe and a wonderful experience! Worth every penny, great atmosphere to talk to others and simply enjoy authentic Japanese food at a high level ! Towards the end, we mentioned how my wife and I were on a mini honeymoon retreat and i kid you not within 5 minutes we had a wonderful happy honeymoon desert platter and a VIP card for our next visit. We ate sushi and sashimi combo and wagyu steak witch was perfectly cooked and served with various sauses and spices. The fish was melting on our tongues. We absolutely recommend this place.

From the freshness of the fish to the presentation of each dish, everything felt carefully prepared. We enjoyed the seasonal set menu and several nigiri selections.
